Conscious Packaging

How to Recycle and Reuse

How to Recycle & Reuse Your Carla Riva Packaging

Our packaging is designed with longevity and recyclability in mind. We’ve chosen aluminium wherever possible — a material that can be recycled repeatedly without loss of quality.
Before recycling, please ensure all components are empty and clean.

What to Do With Each Component

Aluminium Bottle — Recycle (with Cap)

When your bottle is empty, recycle the aluminium bottle together with the aluminium cap. Aluminium is highly recyclable and can be reprocessed again and again.

Eye Dropper — Reuse

Please keep your eye dropper and reuse it with your next refill order. Reusing components helps reduce waste and avoids unnecessary replacements.

Aluminium tin — reuse or recycle

Our aluminium tins are not food safe, but they are perfect for reusing around the home — for storage, travel items, or small essentials. If you don’t wish to reuse it, the tin can be recycled.

Tissue Paper — Recycle

Our tissue paper is recyclable and can be placed in your paper recycling.

why we care

We’ve all seen the images of overflowing landfill and plastic pollution affecting our planet — and we all contribute to it in some way.

At Carla Riva, we wanted to make a more conscious choice. That’s why we use aluminium packaging with refill options, designed to help reduce unnecessary waste and give our packaging a longer life.

While plastic remains widely used throughout the beauty industry, we believe small changes can make a meaningful difference. Choosing refillable packaging is one simple step towards reducing our reliance on single-use materials and encouraging more thoughtful consumption.

We know sustainability isn’t about perfection. It’s about making better choices where we can

A Simple Refill Ritual

Refilling your bottle is one of the easiest ways to reduce packaging waste. By reusing what you already have, you help lower demand for new materials and reduce the amount of packaging entering the waste stream. Every refill is a small but meaningful step toward a more sustainable future. Thank you for choosing to care for your skin — and the environment — with intention.
